“Reactivate Sarajevo: (Infra)cultural re-programmation of the City”

Throughout its dynamic history Sarajevo has been a fertile ground for cross-cultural development of ideas. This resulted in a very diverse and unique cityscape. Nevertheless, today, the complicated socio-economic and political context of Sarajevo imposes numerous urgent urban challenges.
Sarajevo, described as the cultural heart of the Balkans, represents therefore a fertile creative ground and a laboratory for urban re-programmations, cultural and entrepreneurial initiatives and interventions that can catalye a positive change for the city and its inhabitants.
At the event, the Urban-Think Tank Chair will present the results of the research, study trip and initial ideas developed together with various local partners and international experts within the framework of the Reactivate Sarajevo Forum. In the second part of the event, the panel discussion with guests from Sarajevo will serve to discuss next steps and identify possible solutions for the city.
